BBA Full Form is Bachelor of Business Administration, it is a 3-year undergraduate course that helps develop the entrepreneurship and business management skills in students from all three fields i.e., science, commerce and arts. One of the most in-demand undergraduate degrees which students from commerce backgrounds want to pursue after class 12th is BBA.

There are various specializations in BBA that students can pursue according to their interests. 

Some of the popular specializations offered to students are finance, human resources and marketing.

The entire BBA syllabus is divided into three years and six semesters. Which means two semesters per year. Students can also pursue BBA LLB which is a 5-year long course where both the course are taught to students. 

Average fees for the BBA course depend on the institute but usually, the average course fee ranges from 1-5 lacs approximately for the complete course.

BBA course is a bachelor’s degree, the minimum eligibility criteria for admission to a BBA course is that a student must have cleared 10+2 exams from any stream from any recognised institutions.

The duration of the BBA course is 3-years. The entrance exams which students have to give are DU JAT, IPU CET and NPAT.

Given below are the eligibility criteria for pursuing BBA 

EDUCATION QUALIFICATION: passing class 12th examination from any stream from a recognised board.

MINIMUM MARKS: candidates must have at least scored aggregate marks of 50-55% marks in class 12th.

AGE LIMIT: Candidates must be aged between 17 to 23 years for the general category.

Students who want to study BBA can get admission to any BBA College. The admission process is of two types, entrance exams based and direct admission. Most colleges take admission through the ICSE or CBSE marks secured by the student in class 12. 

Direct Admission for Bachelor of Business Administration is based on the marks secured by the candidate in class 12th.

  • Students from any stream with a minimum of 50% marks in 12th can apply for BBA admission in colleges and universities.
  • Some of the colleges that adapt to the culture of direct admission for Bachelor of Business Administration are Madras Christian College, Mount Carmel College, JD Birla Institute, and others.
  • There are national-level BBA entrance test examinations for students all over India. BBA Entrance Exams are UPSEE, IPU CET, MUMCET, etc. Top BBA colleges like the Department of Management Studies Christ University, SSCBS, SVKMs NMIMS, etc and more take admission through entrances like SET, NPAT, DU JAT, etc.
